Welcome to the North East Endocrine Network

Establishing regional guidance and pathways for endocrine conditions

About Us

We have a passion for endocrinology. The Northern Endocrine Network was set up in 2013 to bring together members of each of the endocrinology units within the Northern Deanery region (now known as Health Education North East) for a regular meeting with the main aims of sharing enthusiasm, knowledge and expertise in endocrinology, and promoting and perpetuating excellence in clinical care within our speciality. The network represents a partnership between consultants practicing in endocrinology and trainees in the region.

Mission Statement

The purpose of the Northern Endocrine Network is to develop links between units and establish regional guidance and pathways for endocrine conditions. The ultimate aim is to share knowledge, experience and good practice in order to, first and foremost, facilitate the provision of high quality, uniform patient care across the region, in addition to promoting regional collaboration in quality improvement, research and audit projects
