Due to the COVID-19 / coronavirus pandemic, it is necessary to currently cancel regional training events. This includes the planned June CME and the 2020 NERRAG meeting. In addition, the regional MERIT programme is currently on hold.
This is rightly to allow us to focus on the important priority of clinical care in the face of the challenge of the COVID-19 pandemic. It will also help to avoid non-essential travel and social contact.
The North East has a very proud track record of excellent regional training events, and whilst this temporary suspension of the programme is a sad necessity, we look forward to re-starting the programme with all our enthusiasm on the other side of the current crisis.
In the meantime, lets get on with the work of looking after our patients, each other and ourselves.
